Cedar Island Lake is a public all sports lake and is in White Lake Twp. The public access only has 4 spots so there is not a lot of extra boat traffic on the lake. So there is a large area of the lake that is undeveloped due to the state park.

Trinity Health Medical Center - Whitehall is less than 20 miles from the lake and provides 24-hour care. Nestled in Montague, Michigan, White Lake is 2,571 acres in size and is located about 60 northwest of Grand Rapids. This is an all Sports lake at about 89 acres, it is private, there are canals. The homes lie in the Huron Valley School district, and the homes are on well and septic systems. Some of the homes over the years we added onto, some were torn down and rebuilt, and some remained the same.
There are still a few vacant lots on the lake but those owners have been holding on the lakefront lots for years. They have had no desire to sell them in the past years. White Lake is a beautiful lake on West Michigan’s shoreline coast. Tull Lake, the largest private all-sports lake in White Lake Township, is 90 acres and around 12 feet deep. The semi-shallow lake makes it great for pontoon boats, skiers, and kayaking. The lake remains settled and not busy during all seasons.
